Slurry Hills festival

The Surry hills festival makes it return this year on April the 10th. This year the festival will be held in the temporary venue of ward park and Shannon reserve, while Prince Alfred park undergoes some major renovations. This year they decided to ruin our fun. The festival will be alcohol free with no alcohol for sale on site (fail) and a strict no BYO policy, Even though this no BYO policy has never stopped rotting corpse in the past. Bands announced so far are; We Say Bomboulee, Bearhug, Belles Will Ring, Fergus Brown, Jonathan Boulet, Rumpunch, The Paper Scissors and the Ray Mann Three, as well as a yet to be announced 2ser stage. by the looks of it the 3Dworld stage has been scratched due to limited space. To make up for no alcohol sales and less stages there will be some kind of satellite events in the local pubs and bars to keep the alcoholics inside us happy.

Anyway its always a fun day and you get your moneys worth for a gold coin donation,

so go check it out;
