All right the New Year is in full swing and we have been pretty quite on the corpse front for a minute, but were back. Starting at well, the start of the year I hit up Peat’s Ridge festival for the Third year in a row. The festival was dope fun as always. A little devastated to see there was no dubshack anymore. Anyway highlights included Mount mocha Kilimanjaro, The Bird, Hermitude, LTJ Bukam, Askills, Thundamentals and more than I can remember at this stage. Next on the agenda was festival first night with Norman Jay MBE killing it with his Goodtimes double Decker bus and Mike Patton’s Mondo Cane for free in the domain the following week. Last Friday was the first band I actually paid to see in a while, The band was the one and only Stepkids with Electric Wire Hustle on the support, This was and amazing show, with amazing visuals and mad extended psyche jams. Well worth it and a band to keep an eye on for sure. Looking into the future there is an Aphex Twin show at the Enmore in a few weeks, that shouldn’t be missed. All in all there should be some more consistent posting right here from now on. Peace
