Ah i know that its a little old and "mash up" is getting to the annoying stage, but its funny too see with all Greg Gillis's success that he's not getting away with using the "fair use" doctrine, as a way not too clear his samples anymore. Releasing his new album for free may help him get around this for a while. This one contains some 373 samples which i'm sure would not be worth (or possible) of clearing. But as we saw with hip hop in the late 80's and early 90's, You can only "rape and pillage" other peoples music for so long before people (some record label honky) will want to make some money out of it. So download this shit HERE because i doubt its going to show up in physical format. Here's an idea major record labels, sign Girltalk and let him free on your entire back catalog (madlib and bluenote style ), its good promotion and you may even gain some street cred.
