Umm...WTF?!

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. That actually is THE Scott Ian lining up alongside 2 members of the now (thank Christ) defunct band Fall Out Boy & some other hipster doofus ring-in with hand tatts, frontman of the now super lame Every Time I Die ( who's first 2 albums were crackers i might add).

You are looking at a photo of new rock n' roll "Super Group", The Damned Things.

I never thought a musician i admired would ever do something that would make me question my fandom of said muso. Sure, Megadeth released Risk (what the FUCK were you thinking "sober" Dave?!). Then Metallica semi went that way with Load & Reload, then went all the way with St. Anger. I just had to remember that they both happened to release 2 of the greatest metal albums of all time, Rust In Peace & Kill Em' All, respectively and i could let their "experiments" slide. But this...This is unforgivable. I own every single Anthrax album, hell i even prefer the John Bush era- Anthrax to the Joey stuff, but that somewhat impressive back cat is not enough to deter me from denouncing my fandom of Anthrax.

That Ted Nugent/Sebastian Bach/fat guy from Bio-Hazard band was good for a laugh and made for good reality tv for 30 seconds, but Scott Ian has taken it too far. Fucking Fall Out Boy...you have to be shitting me Scott..You can't be that hard up for cash, can you?

Goodbye credibility, hello more $$$ ,seeing as they signed to The Island/Def Jam label, without having played a single note, much less a show or written a demo. Lame.

Scott Ian, you are dead to me.
