Bad Brains’ classic lineup of singer H.R., guitarist Dr. Know, bassist Darryl Jenifer, and drummer Earl Hudson is heading down to play Australian shows in mid-June. The Washington, D.C. band’s distinctive fusion of punk and reggae has made it one of the most significant bands in the hardcore punk scene, directly influencing the likes of Henry Rollins, Minor Threat and Beastie Boys. In 2007 the band celebrated their 30th anniversary with the release of their eighth studio album Build a Nation, produced by Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch.
