FROM SUDAN... TO AUSTRALIA... TO 1 MILLION VIEWS ON YOUTUBE...

BANGS, the Internet's newest hip hop star, is heading to Sydney for his first club show.

The video to his single, "Take U To Da Movies", recorded at community centre in Footscray, Melbourne, went viral after being posted on Youtube and featured on the Mad Decent blog. Within a few weeks the video reached 1 million views.

If you haven't seen the clip yet check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmJbJs-9ST0

BANGS is a 19 year old refugee from Sudan who settled in Melbourne. His super unique and infectious rapping style and refreshingly honest lyrics have won him tens of thousands of fans around the world.

After playing a handful of shows in Melbourne (including a cameo appearance with Snob Scrilla at the Prince of Wales, the announcement of which lead to mile long queues outside the venue), Bangs is coming to Sydney for the first time to play 'Take U To Da Movies' and a selection of other songs from his soon to be released album 'Hard 2 Be Up'.
