After a triumphant debut in 2009, boutique festival Days Like This! returns to Sydney in the early days of 2010 with another illustrious line-up. The mix of genres that made the inaugural edition so special will again be on full display – with hip hop, electronica, indie-rock, roots and plenty more spread across the four stages.
Heading the bill this time is none other than Roots Manuva, in his first visit since 2006. The Londoner with a gift for wordplay released his sixth album Slime & Reason this year, and he’s a proven live performer. Prolific chanteuse Cat Power will lead her band Dirty Delta Blues, alongside with Detroit soul man Amp Fiddler.
There’s also an impressive dubstep contingent on board for this year’s festival with Joker and Harmonic 313 both locked to perform, joining an impressive indie-dance posse of Thunderheist and Micachu & The Shapes, as well as old faves like LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad and The Nextmen.
