Many of you may have heard the news that our great mate, originally from the UK, Sydney producer/Artist/MC Ali Omar was not well and not in the best health, was recently diagnosed with bowel cancer and in just a short time tried to fight the illness. He passed away on Tues morning 23 June 2009 at the Darlinghurst Hospice in Sydney.
He has collaborated with many with music production and hosted many events as the MC. He has released many albums some of which have become community classics: Arabia Nights, Hashish Ho, 500g of Hashish and was one half member of 90’s Australian influential electronic outfit Atone.
